“The process of blowing glass has been my teacher for the past 35 years. I have developed glass blowing techniques for my work that captivate the fluid energy of hot glass, using fire, air centrifugal force, gravity, and tools to push and pull the glass. I enjoy exploring the visual dimensions of massive glass and reflective interiors, using transparent colors so that light passes through and brings out the pure beauty and essence of glass.” - Leon PERMANENT COLLECTIONS <![if !vml]><![endif]> The McDonaugh Collection of American Art – Youngstown, Ohio Canton Art Institute – Canton, Ohio The Patrick Lanen Art Foundation – Palm Beach, Florida Wheaton Museum of Glass – Millville, New Jersey Brunner Museum – Iowa State University – Ames, Iowa Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum – Washington, D.C Corning Museum of Glass – Corning, New York Vero Beach Museum of Art – Vero Beach, Florida Mobil Museum of Art- Mobil –Alabama Gulf Coast Museum of Art – Clearwater, Florida <![if !supportLineBreakNewLine]> <![endif]> <![if !supportLineBreakNewLine]> <![endif]> GALLERY SHOWS <![if !vml]><![endif]> Laughing Dog Gallery – Vero Beach, Florida Hawk Gallery – Columbus, Ohio Renaissance Gallery – Rochester, New York Heller Gallery – New York, New York Fragile – San Juan, Puerto Rico Riley Hawk – Cleveland, Columbus, Ohio Judith Wolov – Boston, Massachusetts Christy Taylor – Boca Raton, Florida Nancy Kaye – Boca Raton, Florida Kimzey Miller – Seattle, Washington Gallery One – Naples, Florida INVITATIONALS <![if !vml]><![endif]> National Glass Show – Habatat Gallery – Southfield, Michigan CGCA Fellowship Exhibition – Snyderman Gallery – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania New York Craftsman’s Show at the Smithsonian Museum – Washington, D.C.
